7th Street Road

It was back in 93 in my small town days
I met a girl at the movie show and I asked her for date
I picked her up at her house down on that 7th Street road
and little did I know, that was as far, as I’d ever need to go
Every time you smile, it blinds me
Every time you laugh, it reminds me of life (down 7th street road)
and I remember, driving out in the middle of nowhere with the radio on
and every tune that I heard playing that night became my favorite song
We didn’t have much money back then and nothing much to do
But all the money in the world couldn’t replace that time with you
Every time you smile, it blinds me
Every time you laugh, it reminds me of life
Down 7th Street Road
That’s where I found you
Down 7th Street Road
That’s where I found myself
Down 7th Street Road
That’s where I long to be
Where nothing in the world was going on
but you and me
And as I think about all those days
There’s not a thing that I’d want to change
-solo-
Every time you smile, it blinds me
Every time you laugh, oh it reminds me
Been many years since we’ve moved away and I’ve loved every one
We’ve had our share of ups and downs and not always fun
And when there’s days that its hard on you well I want you know
I still think of that place, about you and me down on 7th Street Road
Down 7th Street Road
That’s where I found you
Down 7th Street Road
That’s where I found myself
Down 7th Street Road
That’s where I long to be
Where nothing in the world was going on
but you and me
